Scheduled to appear: Ricky Skaggs Lorrie Morgan T.G. I arrived late (9:00) and missed many of the earlier acts. As the name suggests, "A Night Of Healing" is designed to not only raise money for those who have suffered tragic loss, personal loss, but to also help bring the community together to begin the healing process. Monetary donations were accepted at the door for admission into the concert, that will go directly to the disaster relief fund established by the United Way Of Summer County. Singer/songwriter and Hendersonville resident Kelli Lang came up with a plan for the benefit concert when trying to find a way to help her friends and neighbors. Former Bee Gees member Barry Gibb, made a surprise guest appearance at this concert, performing several Bee Gees songs. He recently bought the former home of Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash |
