| The WannaBeatles, A Local Beatles Tribute Band Plays The 2011 Nashville Public Library Summer Concert Series This was my first time of seeing The WannaBeatles. I've since, seen them several more times. They are a Beatles tribute band and did a great job on all of The Beatles classic songs. Not only that, but they put on a good show bringing a lot of fun in to it. They started out playing at a Mexican restaurant and it just grew from there. From what I can tell, they are the most popular of the many Beatle tribute bands in middle Tennessee. Songs range from The Beatles first American hit I Want To Hold Your Hand up until the end with Get Back and others from the final released Beatle album Let It Be. I really enjoyed the show. After the show, Carol and I got to meet the WannaBeatles who just happened to be very nice guys. We got a picture with them and bought their CD Old School/New School, which they signed. We really enjoy the CD with four Beatles covers, as well as four original songs which are all actually very good songs. Go see these guys if you are a Beatles fan or just want to see some good entertainment. They play shows around middle Tennessee pretty regular and have even branched out to other states.
