| Voodoo Prophet comes to play with a love of music that grooves and punishes at the same time. The band doesn't rely on trends or gimmicks to sell them. They let the music do all the talking. The live show delivers the same in your face, high octane performance as on their album, just kicked up about 100 proof! The guys of Voodoo Prophet truly love what they do and have a great time on stage. Which is very apparent when seeing them perform. Having often been compared to the likes of Pantera, Lamb of God, Machine head Black label society and many other Metal legends. The guys respond with a shrug. “It’s pretty simple. We play the music we like and would want to hear. Fortunately it seems there are many other people that enjoy what we do as well.” The band is starting to create a buzz not only in their hometown “Music City U.S.A.” but on the national scene as well. Having shared the stage with such national/International acts as Chthonic, Prong and Destroy,Destroy,Destroy. It is only a matter of time before VP embarks on their own headlining tour. The band believes strongly in the “family” concept. Whether it be the clubs the band performs in, the studio the band records with, or each and every fan they meet along the way. The guys in VP are always available to their friends and fans. Anytime someone contacts their space page or personal pages they will speak to a member of Voodoo Prophet. The band wants to do everything they can to make everyone feel as close to them as possible. Because “without our friends and fans we are just 4 guys jamming in the garage.” So if you’re tired of the make-up, karate kicks, and other Bullshit Voodoo Prophet is the band for you! These metalheads are the first metal Band of The Month. Hey, I am hip to the fact that metal exists in Music City. I saw Judas Priest twice and a local metal band a few years back were doing Long Haired Country Boy head banging style. I liked it. How do you dudes like me now? Congratulations! VP consists of Tom Cole-Vocals,Myk "Voodoo" Ricci-Guitar, Jason Mines-Bass and the most important member of any band Joshua "Zane" Ray on the drums. Yes, I am a drummer. Sue me. Rock On...
