DOCUMENTING THE
MUSICIANS JAM
In 2006, we at
tennesseeconcerts.com began
documenting the Musicians Jam
shortly after it began. The jam took
place at recording studio near the
Nashville Fairgrounds.
We took pictures at all of the jams,
then posted the pictures on
www.tennesseeconcerts.com. The
pictures continued through 2007
until the jam changed locations,
although we did manage to get two
music videos with sound from the
original location before moving the
jam (both Thin Lizzy songs).
The new jam at Windows Off The
Cumberland started in late 2008.
We began to shoot music videos of
the jam and feature the best videos
every month on Tennessee
Concerts and YouTube.
The jam eventually moved again,
this time to the Elysian Inn in
August of 2009. We continue to
shoot videos, posting the best
videos and pictures. Now that we
are going into 2010, we will
continue to post just as much video
each month as is included in a
30-minute television show.. We
have hours of music videos posted
already, along with hundreds of
posted pictures.
You can watch the videos one after
another on our own
TennesseeConcerts TV.
In the future we hope to eventually
broadcast the Jam live on the world
wide internet. See our pictures &
videos posted on each monthly
jam page.

Nashville's rocking
every Sunday

From The Music City
Examiner. Article
by Ken Utterback

The Jam is picking up
momentum, rocking the
house at JC's Bullseye
Sports Bar every Sunday at
6:00pm. After only a couple
months, The Jam is making
quite a name for itself in the
Nashville area.
The Jam is still sponsored by
Tennessee Concerts' Pat
Adams, and  drummer Gary,
but has impressed friends
like Proud Mary at 105.9
The Rock and folks at the
Nashville Scene enough for
the word to be spreading like
a wildfire.
Local rock musicians are
networking at The Jam, and
there never seems to be a
shortage of great talent
taking the stage. This
Sunday, for instance, a great
harp player and his
band--Freight Train
Deluxe--will be hitting the
stage at 8:30, right after The
Jam. Chris Floyd, also known
as 'Freight Train', by the
way, has graced the stage of
at least two different jam
venues in the past couple
years.
JC's Bullseye is located at
3248 Blackwood Drive, in
Nashville--just off Stewarts
Ferry near I-40. You can
view photos, videos and
learn more about the history
of the Jam on the
Tennessee Concerts website
at

jam.
If you are a musician, who
would like to see yourself
jamming on DVD, Pat Adams
is also The Jam's
videographer and can
arrange to capture you
for posterity.

Great venue, excellent sound
system, a friendly attitude,
fabulous food and central
location. Everyone that signs
in gets to play. If you are a
band that needs promotion
check out the Music City Live
page at TennesseeConcerts.
Musicians seeking other
players or bands see my
service The Music City Mix, a
musicians referral service ran
by me personally. Both of
these services are in the
menu at TennesseeConcerts
and were designed to help
musicians at the jam, and
beyond with gigs. In 2006,
TennesseeConcerts.com
began documenting the Jam
shortly after it began. The
first jam had 3 players, and
we ended up just looking at
each other and listening to
records :) The jam took place
at a recording studio near
the Nashville Fairgrounds
where it ran for 3 years until
they lost the lease on the
building.  We took pictures
at all of the jams, then
posted the pictures on
www.tennesseeconcerts.com
. The pictures continued
through 2007 until the jam
changed locations, although
we did manage to get two
music videos with sound from
the original location before
moving the jam (both Thin
Lizzy songs). The new jam at
Windows Off The
Cumberland started in late
2008. We began to shoot
music videos of the jam and
feature the best videos every
month on Tennessee
Concerts and YouTube. The
jam eventually moved again,
this time to the Elysian Inn in
August of 2009. We continue
to shoot videos, posting the
best videos & pictures. Now
that we are going into 2010,
we will continue to post just
as much video each month
as is included in a 30-minute
television show. In the future
we have plans to broadcast
the Jam live on the internet.

posted on each monthly
jam page.
