Crystal Gayle is an
American country
singer. She is the
sister of Loretta Lynn
and the cousin of
Patty Loveless.
Born Brenda Gayle
Webb , Gayle began
perfoming in the
early 1970's.
Her song "Don't It
Make My Brown Eyes
Blue" was number one
on the country and
pop charts. It was
awarded as one of the
top ten most played
songs of the 20th
Century.
"You And I" was a
huge hit for her and
Eddie Rabbitt.
In 2005 the song
was in the
top twelve
100 Greatest Duets.
