| Blackhawk Formed: early 1990's Band Members: Henry Paul, Van Stephenson, Dave Robbins Biography: Blackhawk was Comprised of a trio of seasoned musicians Blackhawk became one of the most successful new country groups of the mid-90's, scoring a string of top ten hits. After issuing just four albums, Blackhawk issued a greatest hits collection in 2000. Henry Paul : The Outlaws: Singer Henry Paul was the leader of the Outlaws, a 1970's Southern Rock group, famous for endless three-guitar jams on the song Green Grass And High Tides. Other Outlaws songs included: There Goes Another Love Song, Ghost Riders In The Sky & Knoxville Girl. The Outlaws played in Nashville several times times in the 70's Henry Paul Band: After leaving the Outlaws, Paul formed the Henry Paul Band, best known for the song Grey Ghost (a song about the late Ronny VanZant from Lynyrd Skynyrd). Henry Paul was also a regular at the Charlie Daniels Band Volunteer Jam concert's in Nashville, including an appearance with Blackhawk, at the 1996 Volunteer Jam at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center |
