| Current Touring: Member Mike Love and Bruce Johnson continue to tour under the Beach Boys name. Bruce Johnson, also wrote the Barry Manilow song "I Write The Songs" Brian Quits Touring: Early in 1965, Brian Wilson suffered a nervous breakdown and decided to quit touring. He rarely played live with the Beach Boys after that.
