| The Kaleidoscope a Nashville music scene magazine in the early 1970's, including myself as writer, and my love for live concerts as a heavy influence on published stories. Concert stories included, Grand Funk in their second trip to Nashville. The Jackson Five with singer Michael Jackson comes to town. | Above: My earliest concert photographs include the BeeGees, The Rolling Stones and Three Dog Night As a music lover in a town known as Music City USA, I, Pat Adams attended concerts and took many pictures from 1970-Present. I made many video recordings, at the request of local Nashville bands in the 1980's. Also, in the 80's, I was instrumental in helping to put together the "Creakers Ball", an annual event in Cheatam County Tennessee featuring the Winters Brothers and other local bands. In the early 2000's, after taking 100's of concert pictures over the decades, I decided to post my concert pictures on the internet along with concert pictures from my family and friends. After the help of others (and Ebay), my website now has over 300 pages and over 1,000 concert & entertainment pictures taken in the Nashville area. I continue to live in Nashville, write articles, and take pictures at local events and concerts. |

I was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, a city known as
Music City USA. Being a music lover and a typical "Nashville
Cat", I started playing guitar as a teenager, and even auditioned
to perform at Opryland USA Theme Park the first year it opened
in the early 1970's. My high school girlfriend and myself sang
"Jackson" & "Both Sides Now" on the stage of the historic
Ryman Auditorium. Unfortunately, we failed the audition. I also
did some reporting in the 1970's for 1510 WLAC-AM radio, and
the Kaleidoscope Newspaper. The Kaleidoscope Newspaper
was one of Nashville's first exclusive "Nashville Music"
newspapers. I did stories from the set of Hee Haw & RCA
Records recording studio (where Elvis first recorded).

| Five Years of Tennessee Concerts Online by Pat Adams 2008 brings the 5th anniversary of TennesseeConcerts. The music web site began in 2003 after posting pictures of Hermans Hermits (along with pictures of singer Peter Noone & myself) at the Tennessee State Fair in 2002. Legendary Nashville Disc Jockey Coyote McCloud hosted that show. Months later he introduced TennesseeConcerts to Nashville through his Nashville oldies morning radio show. This was at a time when I had ONE page of pictures for each decade. The site may have had a dozen or so pages, at that time. We now have 300 pages in 2008. Thanks Coyote! Where are you now? During the past five years we have accomplished a lot. We currently rank in the top "Tennessee Concerts" & "Nashville Concerts" search engine searches in Yahoo & Google. We also rank in the top 1% of "Nashville Tennessee" web sites. We rank near (or at) the top of search engine results for many top artists, as well as the "Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash". We now have over 1,000 (maybe several thousand) Nashville Concert Pictures beginning from 1970-2008 including Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, Southern Rock and more. Our Special Events pages, begins in the 1960's. See our "The Beatles Tennessee Connections" page including The Beatles connections to Tennessee & Nashville. This page mentions Steve Cropper's connection to The Beatles. Our Tennessee Connections page is mentioned in many biographies & references for legendary guitarist Steve Cropper including Steve Croppers Wikipedia entry. Speaking of The Beatles, we also have pages on Paul McCartney in Nashville & Paul McCartney Area Concerts. The five year anniversary brings a new look to the web site, with new pages, including our new Store. We only have a couple of items in the store, but plan to have CD's and other items soon. We will also feature a Nashville Concert Calender of upcoming Nashville concerts. When I try to search for upcoming Nashville Tennessee Concerts, search results come up with TennesseeConcerts.com, so what better site to list upcoming concerts. If you have an upcoming event, let me know and I will list it. We hope to eventually have the best concert calender in middle Tennessee.
